Elizabeth Seger
Bio:
Elizabeth Seger is a researcher at the Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI) and a research affiliate at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk (CSER) at the University of Cambridge. Elizabeth leads GovAI’s research streams on AI Democratization – seeking to better understand what it means to democratize AI and how this understanding might be reflect AI model publishing standards – and on Epistemic Security – investigating the impacts of emerging AI capabilities on how people produce, access, share, and appraise information. Elizabeth also holds a PhD and MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Bioethics UCLA.
Sabrina Küspert
Bio:
Sabrina Küspert is a Seconded Policy Expert from the Mercator Foundation, currently working with the European Commission in the unit responsible for AI Policy Development and Coordination including the EU AI Act. Previously, as a Fellow at the German tech think tank Stiftung Neue Verantwortung and during her time at Oxford University, she conducted research on governing general purpose AI models. Sabrina helped establish the global Responsible AI practice at the Boston Consulting Group, advising public and private sector organisations worldwide on emerging technologies.
